Terms & Conditions Of Lodge Rental

  • Bookings are provisional until the deposit has been received, and will be cancelled if no deposit is received within 3 working days of making the booking.
  • The booking will be confirmed once the deposit is received.
  • The balance of the payment is due in full no less than 4 weeks prior to arrival.
  • A deposit of £100 plus £50 refundable damages deposit is required for all bookings. The damages deposit will be refunded following satisfactory check of the lodge.
  • Cancellations should be notified to: jen@scotlandlodgerentals.com and are effective from the date received.
  • Cancellation charges will apply as follows:2 to 4 weeks prior to arrival date 50% of rental cost 0 to 2 weeks prior to arrival date 100% of rental cost
  • The period of hire is from 4pm on the day of arrival, to 10am on the day of departure. Early arrival/late departure will be accommodated if possible and is strictly by prior arrangement.
  • Occupancy numbers are not to exceed the maximum on the booking request without prior arrangement.
  • No stag or hen party bookings will be taken.
  • Guests shall agree to take reasonable care of the property and contents, and leave it clean and tidy.
  • Breakages or damages to the property or contents must be paid for in full.
  • No smoking in any of the lodges.
  • No dogs in the Highland or L’Autome lodges. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed in the Mougins lodge.
  • The owners shall not be liable to the guests or third parties for loss or damage to persons or property however arising.
  • The owners reserve a right of entry at any reasonable time for undertaking necessary repairs, maintenance or inspections. Prior notice will be given where possible and privacy respected at all times.
  • Any complaints should be notified prior to the end of the holiday to enable any issues to be resolved. No correspondence regarding complaints will be entered into after the end of the hire period.
